What is your name? Annalyn Ledesma.
How old are you? 19.
Where are you from? Lynnwood, WA.
What is your background? I am full Filipino, but I was born and raised here so I’m an American Citizen.
In a few sentences, tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do: I am currently a college student, going into my sophomore year. I go to Western Washington University and I am planning on getting a degree in Behavioral neuroscience and going into PreMed. I am a singer and a dancer and I am currently in a hip hop dance club and in FASA club (Filipino American Student Association).
What are you currently doing for hair health and care? I am using Regis Designline moisture shampoo and conditioner. I wash my hair about twice a week (at most three times).
Are you using any natural hair products (if yes, what are they and what do you like or not like about them)? I am not currently using any natural hair products.
What works well for you and what doesn’t? Pantene is something that doesn’t work well for me. And the one I am currently using works really well.
What do you like about your hair and what has taken some time for you to accept about your hair? I love how my hair is straight. Something that has taken some time for me to accept is that at the ends of my hair flips out.
What are some helpful tips you can share with other readers? My hair gets oily fast by my roots. So a tip that has helped me and that can help you if you relate. Start with applying shampoo all over the hair, then rinse. Afterwards gather all your hair like your going to put your hair in a hair tie, and then below of where your hair tie will be, apply the conditioner down so your hair won’t be tangled and your roots won’t be oily fast.
