Hair Health Focus Launch
Why Focus on hair health? Because hair is a part of who we are and it is both beautiful and terrible all at the same time. What one person wishes they had, another person wishes they didn’t have and vice versa. There are so many things to take into consideration when thinking about hair health including genetics, hormones, stress, nutrition, environment, and hair products to name a few.
What I want to create here is a place where we can all discuss hair health (the good, the bad, and the ugly) in a safe and helpful way. A place where we can celebrate the beauty and diversity of hair. A place where we can ask questions and hopefully find some answers. A place where there is useful information such as health concerns that affect hair health, tests that can be done in the context of hair health, hair products that are great for hair care and health, nutrition for hair health, and so much more.
I am going to start by having a featured person each week. A picture of each person featured will be posted along with some short answers to questions like: “What is your name?”, “How old are you?”, “Where are you from?”, “What is your background?”, “In a few sentences, tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do.”, “What are you currently doing for hair health and care?”, Are you using any natural hair products (if yes, what are they and what do you like or not like about them)?”, “What works well for you and what doesn’t?”, “What do you like about your hair and what has taken some time for you to accept about your hair?”, “What are some helpful tips you can share with other readers?”, “Please share something different, interesting, or funny about yourself.”, “If you would like to link information about yourself and how to contact you please list your website for other readers to look at.”
While people often think of women as being the primary focus of hair heath, this hair health launch is for people of ALL genders and ages. Most people at some point in their life struggle with personal issues about their hair. Some people struggle with frizz and too much volume, others don’t like how thin and limp their hair is, and then there are people who are losing their hair and want to know what to do to stop the hair loss. While there are no easy or one-size-fits-all answers, there are general hair health tips that can be utilized.
Everyone has their own “hair experience” and can share something. Please be aware that the information shared here is for informational purposes only and should not be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. This hair health focus launch expresses the view point of each individual writing and sharing their experience and does not constitute an endorsement by myself. I look forward to writing about my experience and learning from yours! - Let’s talk about hair!
