Hi! My name is Frederique, but everyone calls me Freddy. I am 23 years old and from the Netherlands. 

Background 

· I spent a year in the US between high school and college and was able to spent time abroad during college. I studied international business and management studies and recently graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). 

About myself 

· I am currently working as an IT trainee. It seems very different from my degree. In a way it is, but I can use my previously gained business knowledge to excel in my current job. I am curious to see where this path leads me. I have played tennis for many years but didn’t really get to it the past few years. Planning on getting back at it this spring. 

Special care? 

· I don’t think I am doing anything special as it comes to hair care and health. I have tried coconut oil mask, but it didn’t work well for my hair. I try to eat healthy and I’m sure that helps. 

Natural hair products? 

· I don’t use all-natural hair products. 

What works well and what doesn’t? 

· My hair is more wavy than curly, but a curl shampoo and conditioner are my go-to products. It gives my hair more volume and less frizzy. I used the brand Andrelon. I also use a heath spray to protect my hair when I blow-dry it and a leave in cream to boost waves and fight the frizz. 

· Hair masks usually don’t really work. I lose my volume and my hair looks dull. The same goes for coconut oil. My hair feels amazingly soft after an oil mask, but I don’t like the look of it. 

What do you like and what not? 

· My hair is a great color, with natural highlights. I don’t think I’ll ever dye my hair. I love how thick and wavy it is. I had to learn to accept that my hair does whatever it feels like doing. Good hair days, bad hair days. It can be very frizzy at times. Luckily, I can always put it up on the bad days. Wouldn’t want to have different hair. 

Advice: 

· Make sure you use hair ties which don’t damage the hair as much. 

Interesting info 

· I really enjoy doing my nails. Any color works. My favorite nail color is blue. Making designs and creative creations really relaxes me. It is like a little art project which you take with you. It makes me feel confident and complete. It is a way to express myself.
